Boliden Gällivare

The Boliden mining project in Gällivare, Sweden started in 2008. Boliden's copper mine's capacity was increased to 36 million tons and a new concentrator was built. The total investment of the construction project was circa 500 million euros.

Fineweld Ltd delivered
the process piping and heating piping for the concentrator. Fineweld Ltd delivered  30 kilometers of piping of sizes DN15 - DN1200. Fineweld also delivered 100 tonnes worth of steel and equipment installations, and assisted the customer with the start-up of the plant. The total value of the delivery was circa 9 million euros.

The King of Sweden, Carl Gustav XVI inaugurated the plant on 31 August 2010.
