1988

Hitsausapu Matti Laitinen was founded.
1995–1999

The first projects involved maintenance tasks in the Kokkola industrial area. The company employed between 30 and 50 people.
1996

The name of the company was changed to Fineweld Oy.
2003

The first project valued at over €10 million for UPM in Pietarsaari.
2006

A delivery worth over €20 million to LKAB in Sweden marks the company’s first major export project.
2010

The Swedish subsidiary Fineweld Sverige AB was founded.
2012

Over €60 million in turnover from four large investment projects.
2020

The largest contract in the company’s history, for Northvolt’s battery chemical plant in Sweden.
