Fineweld’s current CEO and Board Chair Matti Laitinen is very pleased to announce that Jukka Karhula has been appointed Fineweld’s new CEO. Karhula has extensive experience in managing organisations and business operations in a Nordic and global environment and will take up his post as CEO later this autumn. Karhula comes to Fineweld from Metso, where he was director of a global product line. Previously, Karhula was a long-standing CEO of A. Häggblom, until that company was acquired by Metso.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Fineweld’s team of seasoned professionals. The green transition has opened up exciting new opportunities for Fineweld in the Nordic countries. It’s a privilege to be part of the company’s success story and to join a team that creates significant additional value for customers. Fineweld’s expert employees and strong project management model are the foundation on which we will build a great future together with our customers,” says Karhula.
“I would like to warmly welcome Jukka to Fineweld. We will be lucky to have such an experienced CEO who is also a determined Ostrobothnian familiar with the local business culture. It is this determined Ostrobothnian nature that has been and will continue to be the key to our successful exports,” says Board Chair Matti Laitinen.
