In 2020 Terrafame carried a product turnover project where main product of the mine was changed to nickel and cobalt sulphates for battery manufacturing.
Fineweld helped Terrafame to build pressure leaching plant which was most demanding part of the investment with special materials, high pressure and chemically challenging process conditions. Fineweld's delivery consisted of piping and equipment installation.
